WIOA Summit 2024

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)Summit reflects the commitment to collaboration and the unified mission fostered by WIOA law. The WIOA Summit is intentionally designed to assist our local core partner staff and board members, by providing practical guidance on service and system integration. The WIOA Professional Development Committee representing the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Illinois Department of Employment Securities, Illinois Community College Board, and the Illinois Department of Human Services.

keynote speaker Dave Costenaro

Dave Costenaro is Chief Data Officer at CSG, an end-to-end software and business consulting firm, where he helps enterprises navigate the constantly evolving world of technology, data, and AI. He synthesizes unique solutions and insights by drawing on 20 years of industry experience and broad perspectives from degrees in engineering, neuroscience, and business. He formerly held roles as: Chief Data Scientist at AI startup Capacity; strategic planner at Fortune 500 Ameren Corporation; and systems engineer at aerospace giant Boeing.

  • Business tours of Gateway Bronco, World Wide Technology, and West Star Aviation will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Attendance is limited.
  • A Business tour of Old Herald Brewery and Distillery will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 5:30 PM – dinner and drinks will follow at the participant’s expense.
  • South Western Illinois College (SWIC) New Advanced Manufacturing Academy Belleville Campus will occur on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
